U.S. Electrical Services, LLC (USESI) announced the signing of an agreement to purchase Electrical Wholesalers Inc. effective June 29, 2006. According to Electrical Wholesaling magazine, EW had revenues of more than $100 million in 2003.
Founded in 1920, Electrical Wholesalers (EW) is a distributor of electrical products headquartered in Hartford, CN. With 22 locations and more than 375 employees, Electrical Wholesalers supplies a broad range of electrical products to contractor, commercial, and industrial customers.

Electrical Wholesalers will retain its name and operations in the New England marketplace. Arthur and Robert Namerow will be remaining with the company. In a related announcement, John Resnik (previously Vice President of Sales at EW) has been named as President of EW under the new ownership.
