Motion Industries Opens Two New Branches

Motion Industries, Birmingham, AL, distributor of industrial MRO replacement parts, opened two new branches one in Bellingham, WA, and the other in Marietta, OH.


 


“These two branches reflect our ongoing commitment to meet the needs of our customers in these respective areas,” said President and CEO Bill Stevens.


 


Motion had sales of $2.8 billion in 2005. It distributes bearings, mechanical, industrial automation, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic power replacement parts; hose and rubber products; and industrial supply products. It has more than 460 operations with nine distribution centers throughout North America with more than 150,000 customers. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company.
