distributor Carlton Systems, has acquired Mid-Atlantic Fasteners, a distribution
company for the fastening and packaging industries.

was founded in 1948 and has 23
sales offices and distribution centers in Delaware, Maryland, North Carolina,
Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia, with its corporate offices located in
Jessup, Maryland. The key to the acquisition is the great culture fit of the two
organizations.
The acquisition of Mid-Atlantic Fasteners
expands the Carlson territory into the Eastern U.S. and presents a
strategic initiative to provide additional sales and service support for the
most recognized product brands in the fastening and packaging
industries.

Carlson Systems, founded in 1947, is a
distributor of packaging, fastening and construction supplies and equipment with
more than 35 locations in the U.S. and Mexico. Carlson Systems Engineering was
founded in 1974 to support its parent organization with specialized and custom
designed packaging and fastening machines primarily for use in the cabinet,
furniture, millwork, storm door and window industries. Advanced Connector
Systems is a metal forming and fabricating company, based in Tempe, Arizona,
focused on the framing and construction industry.
