There is an automation tool for virtually every process of a distributor’s business — both for internal and customer-facing — but they aren’t one-size-fits-all solutions. And with all the options at a distributor’s disposal, it’s easy to have a case of decision paralysis. Maybe a distributor wants and needs to infuse automation into their processes, but a lack of knowledge, guidance or staffing resources results in little to no progress being made on that front.
MDM hosted a free webcast on April 20 that featured a roundtable discussion, where our panel distilled decades of distribution experience into key best practices for applying automation in various business areas. They shared examples and lessons learned and discussed where they see automation applications heading in the near future.
The hour included an audience Q&A portion, where our panelists fielded questions and comments that peaked our live audience’s curiosity.
