Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: LECO), Cleveland, OH, has acquired Wayne Trail Technologies, Inc., a privately held Ohio-based manufacturer of automated systems and tooling, serving a wide range of applications in the metal processing market. Terms were not disclosed.

"Wayne Trail brings extensive design and system building experience, and we are particularly excited about the company's proven capabilities and continued commercial success in the area of laser welding systems," said Lincoln CEO John M. Stropki.
Wayne Trail Technologies, Inc., with headquarters and manufacturing operations in Ft. Loramie, OH, has annual sales of approximately $50 million and employs 162 people.
