Lake Forest, IL-based Grainger (NYSE: GWW), No. 3 on the list of the top 40 industrial distributors, has launched new tools to help businesses manage safety programs and improve inventory management. The program launches were part of Grainger’s annual Customer Show in Orlando, FL.

The online SafetyManager tool helps businesses create and manage their safety programs to effectively maintain regulatory compliance, improve facility safety and decrease operating costs from worker compensation claims, litigation and lost productivity.
Grainger also announced the expansion of its inventory management services. The KeepStock solution helps businesses gain a more thorough understanding of their inventory needs and how to make inventory management more efficient.
More than 4,000 customers, 2,000 manufacturers and 3,000 Grainger employees met in Orlando, FL, to discuss trends in industries such as manufacturing, healthcare and hospitality as well as strategies that help businesses of any size improve productivity.
