Fluid power products distributor Dakota Fluid Power, a subsidiary of Singer Industrial, opened a storefront in Council Bluffs, IA to serve Council Bluffs, Omaha and surrounding areas.
The addition increases Singer Industrial’s North America footprint to over 100 locations with over 1,400 employees.

The new location will serve as Dakota Fluid Power’s 13th location. Dakota Fluid Power will utilize the storefront to provide technical expertise, service/repair and a “well-stocked” inventory of fluid power products.
“The overwhelming feedback from customers visiting our new Council Bluffs store has been incredibly positive,” said Brian Zweibohmer, Council Bluffs Branch Manager, in a April 12 news release. “We’re thrilled to provide such essential services in the area, much needed and greatly appreciated. It’s a significant time and money saver to have these conveniences closer to home.”
On MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors Lists, Singer Industrial was No. 4 for Hose/Hose Accessories, No. 15 for Fluid Power and No. 40 for Industrial.
