The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) added two manufacturer members and one associate member.
Manufacturers
Lafayette, NJ-based ComInTec North America was founded in 1967 by Dante Cavalli. The company is a manufacturer of power transmission components, torque limiter, safety couplings, backlash free torque limiters, elastic couplings and more.
Founded in 1981, UNIMEC North America is a manufacturer of precision screw jacks, bevel gear reducers and mechanical speed modulators. Approximately 80% of its components used in products are manufactured in-house. UNIMEC North American manufactures products for the U.S. and Canada from its location in Lafayette, NJ.
Associate
BearingBank is an eCommerce marketplace designed for bearings and power transmission distributors to buy and sell industrial parts. The Rochester, NY-based cross-references over 20 million SKUs on the database. BearingBank users can see real-time inventory by brand, part number, quantity, pricing and location.
PTDA will host its annual Industry Summit Oct. 24-26 in Colorado Springs, where MDM will be in attendance.
