Marietta, GA-based lightweight conveyor system belting and component distributor Belt Power acquired the U.S. assets of Mol Belting Systems.
Founded in 1986 and based in Grand Rapids, MI, Mol is a fabricator and distributor of process conveyor belting systems, conveyor accessories and power transmission products. The company also has in-house engineering capabilities.
The combination of Belt Power and Mol provides a platform to deliver value-added solutions to its customers across the market by leveraging Belt Power’s expanding footprint and Mol’s technical expertise, company officials said in a June 17 news release.
“We are excited to leverage the broader capabilities available through Belt Power,” Mol Vice President of Sales John McMullin said. “At Mol Belting, our focus was on finding solutions for our customers. We are confident that this partnership aligns with that solutions-focused approach and will allow us to better serve the needs of our customers and pursue additional growth opportunities.”
Earlier this month, Belt Power expanded in the Southwest with Phoenix-based Avtech Industrial Products.
