Plumbing, HVAC and industrial supplies distribution giant Ferguson has opened a new distribution center in Nampa, Idaho, according to real estate management and development company Adler Industrial.
Located about 20 miles west of downtown Boise in Nampa’s Adler Northside Industrial Park, the facility spans 165,000 square feet.
Adler notes that the DC stocks dual trade wholesale supplies and equipment and is designed to be a Ferguson strategic shipping hub for catering to the southwest Washington and Portland, Oregon markets.
Adler adds that Ferguson plans to expand the services available to contractors and skilled trade professionals in the region.
The facility addition helps Ferguson ensure fast inventory access and various delivery options, including the convenience of Pro Pick-Up services in as little as one hour, same-day or next-day delivery.
Construction of the DC took approximately 11 months to complete.
The Nampa facility joins 10 other distribution centers in Ferguson’s U.S. logistics network, which also includes more than 1,500 branches. The company also has three market distribution centers in Denver, Phoenix and Houston for branch replenishment and final mile distribution to customers.
On MDM’s 2023 Top Distributors Lists, Ferguson charted at No. 1 for plumbing supplies, No. 2 for HVACR supplies, No. 2 for industrial PVF, No. 3 for industrial supplies, No. 7 for building materials/construction and No. 8 for MRO supplies
