Swedish manufacturer Atlas Copco (STO: ATCOA, ATCOB), reported sales for the first quarter of SEK 28 billion (US$3.2 billion), a 24.8 percent increase year-over-year. Profit for the quarter increased 37.7 percent to SEK 4 billion (US$454.9 million).
As previously reported, Mats Rahmström is taking over as president and CEO on April 27. Henrik Elmin will succeed Rahmström as president of the Industrial Technique business area.
