SupplyOne (Newtown Square, PA), an independent distributor of corrugated and other value-added packaging products, acquired Toronto-based Crownhill Packaging.
Founded in 1986, Crownhill is one of North America’s largest full-service packaging supplies distributors. Its footprint spans four locations in Canada and the U.S., including on in the Chicago area.
Crownhill offers a full portfolio of customized packaging solutions to customers. Its customer segments include public sector agencies, industrial products, consumer goods and eCommerce
“The acquisition of Crownhill Packaging is an exciting step in the execution of our growth strategy,” Todd Renehan, SupplyOne President and CEO, said in a Jan. 9 news release. “As our first international acquisition, the company’s go-to-market strategy offers a significant opportunity to grow and expand in one of the largest metro areas in North America.”

The deal represents the 39th addition to the SupplyOne portfolio in its 25 years in business. The company spans 18 corrugated production facilities and 45 distribution centers across North America. SupplyOne provides mid-sized manufacturers, food processors, medical and eCommerce companies with packaging programs, products and supply chain solutions from a single point of contact. SupplyOne is a portfolio company of Wellspring Capital Management.
