Packaging Corp. of America (NYSE: PKG), Lake Forest, IL, reported 2016 sales of $5.8 billion, up 0.7 percent from 2015. Profit increased 2.9 percent to $449.6 million.
Sales for the fourth quarter were $1.5 billion, up 6.2 percent compared to the same period a year ago. Profit increased 6 percent to $110.6 million.
