Neenah Paper Inc. (NYSE: NP), Alphareta, Georgia, reported sales for the second quarter of $253.4 million, a decrease of 7% compared to the same period a year ago. Profit was $13.6 million, compared to a loss of $4.8 million during the second quarter of 2018.
The Technical Products segment reported quarterly sales of $146.4 million down 5% from the prior year, and down 2% on a constant currency basis.
Sales for the first six months fell 8.3% to $493.1 million. Profit was $25.4 million, compared to $11.4 million during the same period in 2018.
