Imperial Dade certainly isn’t slowing down.
The distributor of foodservice packaging and janitorial supplies announced its latest acquisitions on Oct. 3 in the form of Mobile, Alabama-based Dees Paper Company and Gatineau, Quebec-based Boudreault Packaging Ltd. They mark the 54th and 55th acquisitions, respectively, for Imperial Dade under the leadership of chairman Robert Tillis and CEO Jason Tillis.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed for either transaction.
Jersey City, New Jersey-based Imperial-Dade was named one of the 10 largest Jan-San distributors by MDM, earning a spot on our unranked 2022 Top Jan-San Distributors List on account of its $3.2 billion in 2021 revenue.
Owned and operated by Monty Dees, Dees is a distributor of janitorial sanitation and foodservice products.
“Dees has a loyal customer base and a laser-focused commitment to providing an unparalleled customer experience, making the business a great addition to our family.” Robert Tillis said, with Jason Tillis adding, “I am excited for the opportunity to partner with Dees’ team to further grow our business and continue to deliver high-quality solutions and services to our customers.”
“We are excited about the future of Dees under the leadership of Imperial Dade. Our values and cultures align, and I could not have imagined a better next chapter for the Dees customers and employees.” Monty Dees echoed.
As Imperial-Dade’s first acquisition in Canada since Veritiv Canada, Boudreault is also a family-owned distributor of janitorial sanitation and foodservice products.
“I enthusiastically welcome Luc, Francois, Josee and the Boudreault team to Imperial Dade Canada,” Jason Tillis said. “This is a pivotal transaction for us and reinforces our commitment to further growing our Canadian presence, offering high-quality solutions and services to customers throughout North America.
“Boudreault has an outstanding reputation throughout Canada and their customer-centric culture and values align well with ours at Imperial Dade Canada,” added Stephane Lapointe, President of Imperial Dade Canada.
