After announcing six acquisitions during 2022, BradyIFS has announced its first of 2023.
On Jan. 12, the Bell, California-based distributor of foodservice disposables and JanSan products said that it has acquired Elk Grove Village, Illinois-based YPV Distribution — a like distributor of foodservice and JanSan products serving the greater Chicagoland region since 2007.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
MDM’s M&A Virtual Summit, to be held Feb. 21-22, has something to offer for any distributor on the dealmaking spectrum. We’ll cover the current state of M&A; how to maximize valuation; integration do’s and don’ts; ESOPs; the culture side of the M&A process; and more. Get details and register here.
Brothers Peter and John Bouzas, and Vaios Papandreou will continue to lead and manage YPV’s product and services growth.
“We are pleased to welcome Peter, John, Vaios and the entire team at YPV to BradyIFS,” said Kenneth Sweder, BradyIFS Chairman and CEO. “This is our third acquisition in the Chicago area, where annual revenues now exceed $70 million. We are excited to continue our aggressive expansion across the United States, and we expect additional opportunities in the Midwest and Eastern United States in 2023.”
BradyIFS was formed through the late 2020 merger of Brady Industries and Individual FoodService. The company was on MDM’s unranked 2022 Top JanSan Distributors list with $1.3 billion in 2021 revenue.
“We are very pleased and excited to join the growing BradyIFS family”, said Peter Bouzas, YPV President.
“BradyIFS enables us to scale our operations via an expanded product offering, strategic support, and investments in our infrastructure and service models”, added John Bouzas, YPV Executive Vice President.
