Flow control system manufacturer NIBCO promoted two leaders to lead manufacturing operations.
The Elkhart, IN-based company named Allen Stanley Vice President of Fittings Manufacturing and Distribution to be responsible for manufacturing operations in Stuarts Draft, Virginia, as well as the Demand Planning department. This responsibility will come along with his current responsibilities for the U.S. distribution centers, world headquarters logistics, and all plastic manufacturing facilities.
Stanley most recently served as Director of Plastic Fittings Manufacturing and Distribution. He began his career in 1997 at NIBCO as administrative manager at the Atlanta Distribution Center, and has held a variety of roles of increasing responsibility including Operations Manager at the Elkhart Distribution Center, and Manager of Distribution and Transportation.
Rudy Smith — previously Senior Plant Manager at NIBCO’s plant in Reynosa, Mexico — was promoted to Vice President of Valve Manufacturing. He will be responsible for NIBCO’s facility in Blytheville, AR, along with the company’s facilities in Nacogdoches and McAllen, TX, and in Reynosa.
Smith began his career at NIBCO in 1996 in logistics at NIBCO’s world headquarters. Two years later, he was promoted and transferred as operations manager of NIBCO’s Nacogdoches facility. He held various roles from production superintendent, plant superintendent and plant manager.
