Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. (NYSE: RS), Los Angeles, CA, reported 2017 sales of $9.7 billion, up 12.9 percent from 2016. Profit was $613.4 million, compared to $304.3 million the previous year.
Fourth-quarter sales were $2.4 billion, up 15.3 percent from the fourth quarter of 2016. Profit $301.4 million, compared to $61.7 million in the fourth quarter of 2016.
