BlackHawk Industrial, a distributor of metalworking and industrial products, is making several changes aimed at improving operational efficiency, customer service and environmental responsibility.
The company is establishing a centralized Vending Replenishment and Billing organization (VRB) to enhance customer service, sales growth and inventory management. This new structure will consolidate vending expertise, standardize support processes and improve sales growth, inventory management and overall productivity.
In conjunction with the VRB initiative, BlackHawk has announced the formation of a Safety, Quality and Environmental (SQ&E) team. This new department, led by industry veteran, Ashley Stanfield, aims to enhance both internal and external customer service, operational efficiency and environmental stewardship.
“Centralizing our vending replenishment and billing functions will enable us to provide more consistent and efficient service,” BlackHawk COO Tonay Pivarnik said in a July 23 news release. “I am excited about the positive impact these changes will have on our operations and overall customer satisfaction. These operational enhancements and the introduction of a new BRB organization underscore our unwavering commitment to innovation and excellence. By refining out structure and processes, we are set to deliver even greater value to our customers and poised to set new industry standards.”
Tulsa, OK-based BlackHawk — No. 34 on MDM’s Industrial List and No. 15 for MRO — issued the news about both initiatives a week after announcing a handful of promotions for its operations teams.
