Foodservice packaging, printing papers and JanSan supplies distributor Imperial Dade will acquire JanSan distributor Wedge Supply. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Wedge Supply serves the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area in Texas with two locations, and the acquisition will offer existing customers a greater product offering, company officials said in a Dec. 18 press release.

“Imperial Dade continues to expand its presence in Texas, and we are looking forward to continuing together in our mission to organically grow and provide unmatched customer service across North America,” Imperial Dade CEO Jason Tillis said.

Kevin Wedge founded Wedge Supply in 1989 and will remain at the company.

The transaction represents the 76th acquisition for Imperial Dade — ranking on MDM’s 2023 Top JanSan Distributors List — under the leadership of Chairman Robert and Jason Tillis.

Earlier this year,Imperial Dade appointed a new COO and expanded in Canada.
