Foodservice packaging supplies, industrial products and JanSan supplies distributor Imperial Dade acquired independent Rochester, NY-based JanSan and paper product distributor Regional Distributors Inc. to further grow its presence in upstate New York.

The transaction represents the 88th acquisition for Imperial Dade under the leadership of Robert and Jason Tillis, Chairman and CEO of Imperial Dade, respectively. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1994 by David and Tracy Scalen, Regional Distributors serves a diverse range of markets offering commercial cleaning, food service, warewashing, laundry, frozen dessert, paper and green products and equipment in New York state.

By leveraging Imperial Dade’s platform, Regional Distributor’s customers can expect the same customized service coupled with an even more diversified offering of products and solutions, company officials said in a June 3 news release.

“Regional Distributors and Imperial Dade share the same family culture and customer and associate centric focus, which makes it a great addition to the Imperial Dade platform,” Robert Tillis said.

Regional Distributors’ founders said the Imperial Dade acquisition will strengthen customer and supplier relationships resources and support.

In May, Imperial Dade announced deals to acquire two packaging distributors.
