Global valves and pumps manufacturer Trillium Flow Technologies announced Feb. 8 its acquisition of Coulter Valve Service (CVS), a provider of valve field services based in Chickamauga, Georgia. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1998 by Felix Coulter, CVS specializes in on-site nuclear and commercial maintenance, repair and modifications for main steam isolation valves, feedwater check valves, and free flow reverse check valves.

The acquisition of CVS, which has been a partner of Trillium for many years, strengthens Trillium’s aftermarket business in North America and further expands Trillium’s global service growth strategy, according to a news release. Trillium is based in Glasgow, Scotland, with U.S. headquarters in Houston.

“The acquisition of CVS adds extraordinary talent and technical knowledge to our North American service team,” Trillium CEO David Paradis said in the release. “Integrating CVS with our Ipswich, MA, USA service team will allow us to provide our customers with a greater level and range of services during their regularly planned maintenance cycles.”
