Infrastructure and industrial supplies distributor Core & Main opened a new branch in Chattanooga, TN.

St. Louis-based Core & Main told MDM that the facility is approximately 8,000-square-feet of office space and just over two acres of yard space. According to the Nov. 25 news release, the new facility expands the company’s footprint to more effectively serve waterworks customers across the region.

On Dec. 3, Core & Main reported financial results for its 2024 third quarter that ended Oct. 27. The company posted 3Q sales of $2.03 billion, up 11.5% year-over-year and a gross margin of 26.6%, up 40 basis points year-over-year and up 20 bps from 2Q24.
