NSI Adds Building Technology Division Leader

Jim Thivierge will oversee NSI Industries' Building Technology Division unit operations in California, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Huntersville, NC-based HVAC and electrical products supplier NSI Industries hired James (Jim) Thivierge as Director of Operations for its Building Technology division. Thivierge will oversee the unit’s operations in California, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

Thivierge joins NSI after more than 17 years at Allied Wire & Cable, a part of Genuine Cable Group, most recently serving as Director of Operational Excellence and Customer Experience. He also oversaw the operations of all the company’s satellite branches. Prior to his time at Allied Wire & Cable, he held several roles at both Anixter and Anicom.

“Jim is a seasoned operations professional with a diverse background in sales, manufacturing, distribution, production and more,” said Building Technology Business Unit President David DiDonato in a Feb. 26 news release. Thivierge will report to DiDonato. “He is an exceptional leader with a collaborative and team-first approach that will be a tremendous asset to Building Technology as we continue to evolve the business and best support the growing needs of our customers.”

NSI Building Technologies, a part of NSI’s Electrical Division, offers fiber and copper cable assemblies, pigtails, connectors, patch cords, patch panels, trunks, enclosures, jacks, electronics and components for networking applications, and interconnects, AV cable, USB cables and signal distribution electronics for networking, security and AV applications.
