Singer Industrial closed out a very busy 2023 in style, making its 10th acquisition of the year on Dec. 20.

The fluid power, hosing and industrial products distributor announced Jan. 2 that it has acquired HOSER Inc. — a distributor hose products and accessories, along with service solutions for on-site hose repair, hydraulic hose assemblies and more.

Based in Greenville, SC with a second location in Monroe, NC, HOSER was formed 9 years ago. The company will now operate within Singer’s Industrial Rubber division. HOSER serves customers in markets of agriculture, construction, food and beverage, recycling and general industrial supply.

“With their large fleet of service vans, HOSER expands our customer value proposition to include on-site hose repair and hydraulic service in the Southeast,” detailed Singer Industrial Rubber Division President Sam Petillo. “Paul and his team fit well into our customer-centric culture of speed and local hose support. We will continue to invest and expand our field service expertise that our customers value.”

The addition expands Singer’s — formerly SBP Holdings — North American footprint to about 100 locations, backed by more than 1,400 employees.

HOSER Inc. is owned and operated by Paul Dugick, who will continue to manage its operation within Singer. Dugick has plans to expand the enterprise by adding new locations and selling core Singer Industrial products.

“Paul has built an amazing team and mobile business,” Singer CEO Craig Osborne added. “We are excited to use their knowledge to expand further into mobile services.”

Singer’s previously most recent acquisition announcement was on Dec. 1 in the form of Ray Lewis & Co. — a distributor of industrial and hydraulic hose and fittings.
