Singer Industrial Acquires Fluid Tech Hydraulics in Sacramento

FTH offers its customers components and services, including hydraulic pumps, cylinders, industrial hoses and fittings across California.

Dallas, TX-based industrial rubber and fluid power products distributor Singer Industrial acquired Fluid Tech Hydraulics (FTH).

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Sacramento, CA-based FTH offers its customers components and services, including hydraulic pumps, cylinders, industrial hoses and fittings.

The company will operate as part of Fluid Power Division of Singer Industrial.

“Gail and the entire Fluid Tech Hydraulics’ team have built an extraordinary business by providing exceptional service to their diversified customer base which aligns perfectly with the Singer Industrial strategy,” Singer Industrial Fluid Power President Scott Wojciak said in an Oct. 31 news release. “We are very excited to have them join our team and look forward to expanding our sales and services into California.”

With the addition, Singer Industrial’s North American footprint increased to more than 120 locations with over 1,500 employees.

The company’s previously most recent acquisition was of Winnipeg-based MEP Brothers, completed on July 31.

Singer Industrial — No. 36 on MDM’s Top Distributor’s List for Industrial Supplies — announced new leadership appointments on June 18, including Peter Haberbosch as its new president and Chris Holder as its new COO.
