Formerly known as ERIKS North America until 2023, LGG Industrial — a distributor of fluid handling, sealing and material conveyance supplies — shared that it is investing in the capabilities for its branch network that reflect customer needs.
In a May 22 news release, the Pittsburgh-based company said that its efforts to expand capabilities across all of its 70+ branches across North America.
As an example, LGG Industrial cited its expanded gasket sealing solution capabilities throughout its U.S. and Canada branches — adding additional production equipment to facilities and expanding soft and metal gasket fabrication.
“This is very exciting because it will allow for an increase in our operational productivity, and allow us to have more gaskets in-stock, readily available for our local customers,” LGG Western U.S. Director of Operations Andy Dunn said.
Similarly, LGG has enhanced its material handling solutions with investments that support both heavyweight and lightweight conveyor systems.
“We have a great team built around our material conveyance solutions and have grown our field service crews across all regions so that we can better serve our customers,” LGG Eastern Director of Operations Tim Posey added.
LGG exemplified its industrial hose distribution expertise in that it has a Certified Master Coupler at nearly every branch location. The company said it has added larger capacity crimpers, metal hose fabrication and an increased focus on hose management capabilities that include testing, reclamation and tagging throughout the U.S. and Canada. Additionally, LGG has grown its hydraulic hose capabilities, particularly with its 2023 acquisition of DeeTag — ultimately helping the company to serve OEM customers in various markets.
“Our fluid power hose capabilities in Canada have been expanding as we have entered new markets,” LGG Canada Director of Operations Michael Leonard said. “Our OEM customers see the value we bring not only by providing quality products, but through solutions we deliver directly from our local branches.”
LGG Industrial Chief Executive Jeff Crane was featured on the MDM Podcast in April 2023.
