Food distributor and supplier Performance Food Group nearly doubled its industrial building in Swedesboro, NJ.
The 300,618-square-foot building services PFG’s Mid-Atlantic operations for Vistar, a service line focused on stocking snack, candy and beverage items in business and community locations.
The occupied space was originally 159,627 square feet and the company built a 140,991 square foot addition. Approximately 25% of the building is dedicated to cold storage space, according to a Jan. 23 news release.
The location is positioned for distribution in the Northeast Corridor, accessible to Interstate 295 and minutes from the New Jersey Turnpike and to the Commodore Barry Bridge and I-95.
PFG delivers more than 300,000 food and related products to customers across North America. With corporate operations in Richmond, Virginia the company has more than 150 distribution centers across the United States.
