Parts Town, a distributor of OEM foodservice equipment, residential appliance parts, HVAC parts, consumer electronic components and related products, announced Nov. 15 that it plans to open a large, high-tech distribution center near Phoenix in late 2024.
The company said the 420,000-square-foot facility will feature the same-high tech automation and robotics solutions as its flagship Addison, Illinois headquarters distribution center. Extending Parts Town’s in-stock availability, the expansion aims to further enhance the company’s speed of delivery for mission-critical parts.
Parts Town said the new DC will initially create approximately 100 jobs.
“Our organic growth continues to be very strong and has exceeded expectations in 2023,” company CEO Steve Snower said in a news release. “We are investing ahead of expected accelerated growth and product expansion in 2024 and beyond. Our emphasis on centralized, high-tech distribution allows customers to access more products, less split shipments, faster delivery, and higher quality.
Parts Town Unlimited — Parts Town’s parent company — said it is performing ahead of expectations in 2023 and anticipates another year of 20%+ organic growth in its core foodservice parts distribution business. The company expects to exceed $2.4 billion in 2023 total revenue, up from $1.8 billion in 2022.
Parts Town Unlimited spans nearly 50 individual brands worldwide and has more than 5,300 employees.
