OEM foodservice, HVAC and residential appliance parts distributor Parts Town Unlimited — the parent company of Parts Town — opened a global fulfillment center in Litchfield Park, AZ.
The 427,000-square-foot facility’s inventory includes commercial and residential appliance parts, as well as HVAC components, to support Parts Town and Encompass Supply Chain Solutions, which operates under Parts Town Unlimited’s Home division.
The location features 2.3 miles of conveyor and will offer same-day delivery services starting in 2025. It also includes an AutoStore system — an automated inventory solution that occupies minimal floor space — housing 60,000 product bins and 85 robots.
“With the addition of this new global fulfillment center, we now have significant additional capacity to serve our growing customer base and to grow OEM parts share in support of our manufacturer partners around the world,” Parts Town Unlimited CEO Steve Snower said in a Dec. 11 news release. “This facility will ultimately support several categories of mission critical parts where in-stock availability and speed of delivery is highly consequential.”
Parts Town Unlimited projects that the center will process 4,500 orders daily and employ 150 team members by the end of 2025. The company said that the facility will enhance customer service across the western U.S. by enabling quicker shopping and improved shipping rates.
The company previously announced the appointment of Chris Dacey to Chief Strategy and Operations Officer in mid-November.
