One week after announcing a new vice president of field innovation, Parts Town shared an update on its enhanced delivery network.
The distributor of OEM foodservice equipment parts, residential appliance and HVAC repair parts said May 21 that it now offers same-day delivery service at a radius of 50 miles from over 130 Parts In Town locations across the U.S. It marks a significant advancement from the 20-mile radius the company previously offered.
Addison, IL-based Parts Town noted that the expansion is a result of a strategic partnership with UPS-owned Roadie — a crowdsourced platform that specializes in logistics management for last-mile delivery.
Parts Town said that, with the increased radius to 50 miles, it can now delivery parts to the entire city of Chicago in as fast as two hours.
“The expansion of our Same Day Delivery radius is a step change in the ultra-fast accessibility of OEM parts locally,” Emanuela Delgado, Parts Town’s growth and innovation head Emanuela Delgado said in a news release. “This partnership is the latest example of our commitment to not only ensuring genuine OEM parts reach our customers quickly and seamlessly but also to providing tools for service technicians and our end-user customers to increase first-time fix rates and reduce equipment downtime. Getting the parts they need, when and how they want them, has never been easier.”
In 2023, Parts Town’s annual revenue jumped by more than 25% to $2.3 billion.
