Parts Town Adds New CIO, Supply Chain Leader

The HVAC and residential appliance parts distributor adds experienced executives formerly from Ocean Spray and The Home Depot.

Parts Town Unlimited — the parent company of OEM foodservice, HVAC and residential appliance parts distributor Parts Town — appointed Jamie Head as its Chief Information Officer and Lisa Backlin as Group VP of Supply Chain.

An industry veteran with over 20 years of global experience, Head recently served as Chief Digital and Technology Officer for Ocean Spray Cranberries. Before that position, he held senior leadership roles at GSK and Mars, Inc.

“I am very excited to join Parts Town Unlimited and am looking forward to contributing to their continued focus on digital growth and innovation,” said Head in a July 18 news release.

Lisa Backlin — with over 20 years of industry experience — previously worked as VP of Supply Chain Direct Fulfillment at The Home Depot. Prior to her role at Home Depot, she held supply chain and distribution positions with Eaton Manufacturing and Grainger.

“The growth of this business has been amazing,” said Backlin in a Sept. 5 news release. “We are ready to shape the future global distribution capabilities to enable us to scale and grow even faster, while driving a high level of operational performance.”
