Global JanSan, foodservice disposables and industrial packaging supplies distribution group Network Distribution appointed Ricky Bortz as its new Vice President of Supplier Development.
In his role, Bortz will lead supplier programs, category development, and category management teams to drive continued growth for the organization.
Bortz brings 10 years of experience in strategic planning and contract negotiation to Network Distribution, most recently with Salesforce enterprise markets.
“Ricky is a proven dynamic and highly motivated leader. His stellar track record of innovative and strategy-driven results will be crucial in further establishing Network’s commitment to deliver value to our supplier community,” a Jan. 3 company news release stated.
“Ricky’s dedication to people development and his fresh insights will undoubtedly contribute to the long-standing growth trajectory and continued success of Network,“ the company’s Chief Supplier Development Officer, James Timberlake, said in the release. “We are thrilled to welcome his forward-thinking perspective to the team and anticipate making bold strides under his leadership.”
With worldwide revenue of $25 billion, Network Distribution is comprised of over 1,100 distribution centers in over 52 countries, including 600+ DCs in North America.
