Foodservice distributor The Anderson-DuBose Company and Tennessee officials announced an investment of nearly $40 million to launch the company’s first operations in the Volunteer State.
The new facility will be situated in Jefferson City, TN, and is expected to create 80 new jobs. The company serves clients in Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New York now operating three distribution centers, including locations in Lordstown, OH and Rochester, NY.
“We are thrilled to be expanding into Tennessee and building our state-of-the-art distribution center in Jefferson City,” Anderson-DuBose President Mike Boddy said in an Oct. 11 news release. “This investment will help us meet the cold and dry food service storage needs of our valued customers in the Southeast.”
Founded in 1991 with the acquisition of a McDonald’s distribution center, Ohio-based Anderson-DuBose said it has experienced significant growth globally.
