Green Bay, Wisconsin-based fastener distributor Packer Fastener is opening a new location in La Crosse, Wisconsin, on Aug. 1.
Packer Fastener CEO Terry Albrecht attributes the growth into La Crosse to the company’s people-centric company culture designed around recruiting, training and empowering employees to provide exceptional customer experiences.
“We’re only able to grow as fast as our ability to recruit good people, and luckily, we’ve been very successful in both recruiting and growth,” he said in a July 31 news release. “Our new location will allow us to overserve customers throughout The Coulee Region.”
Albrecht will be one of many distribution executives speakers at MDM’s upcoming SHIFT Conference, held Sept. 18-20 in Denver. Click here to listen to a February 2023 podcast conversation between Albrecht and MDM Executive Editor Mike Hockett.
Earlier this year, Packer Fastener relocated a branch in Western Wisconsin.
Packer Fastener sales staff serve original equipment manufacturers, commercial construction, fabricators, machine shops, and maintenance/repair operations. Products range from threaded fasteners, struts and abrasives to industrial safety materials, personal protective equipment, and welding supplies. In addition to threaded fasteners and industrial supplies, Packer Fastener offers vendor managed inventory (VMI), vending and kitting services.
