Fasteners distributor Field Fastener (Field) acquired Cascade Nut and Bolt, Inc. (CNB).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Salem, OR-based fastener distributor CNB was established in 1997. The company offers standard and metric fasteners, including all grades and materials to its customers in the Pacific Northwest.
“We are excited to welcome the Cascade team to the Field family,” Field President Adam Derry said in a Sept. 1 news release. “We’ve been very impressed by the quality of the team at Cascade and the alignment around culture. We are focused on taking care of our customers and team members.”
CNB President Tom Boline will remain with the company and serve as its sales leader to grow the Field footprint and Northwest industrial market.
Rockford, IL-based Field said it has experienced an average annual growth rate of 18% since 1990, attributable to its VMI programs and engineering support. This is the company’s first acquisition since it merged with Ohio-based Mid-State Bolt & Nut in January 2023.
Field was No. 17 on MDM’s Top Distributor’s List for Fasteners.
