Fasteners distributor Endries International acquired Assembly Fasteners, Inc. (AFI).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Apopka, FL-based AFI is a distributor of latches, fasteners and hardware products and solutions. Established in 1984, the company offers a variety of services including vendor managed inventory, customer managed inventory and iBinDrop.
“It is a great business that the Watsons and their team have built that fits hand-in-glove with Endries,” Endries President and CEO Michael Knight said in a Nov. 12 news release. “This acquisition strengthens our presence in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas, and increases our relationship with a key supplier of ours, PennEngineering, whom we have in common with AFI.”
This is Endries’ third deal of 2024, following Florida-based ServTronics, completed in September and Mississippi-based Ace Bolt & Screw, completed in March.
In September, Endries announced the opening of a new distribution center in Northern Illinois.
Endries is No. 9 on MDM’s List of Top Distributors for Fasteners and No. 40 for Industrial Supplies.
