Birmingham Fastener Acquires Anchor Bolt & Supply in West Texas

Alabama-based fasteners distributor and manufacturer Birmingham Fastener has acquired Texas-based Anchor Bolt & Supply.

Established in 1952, Anchor Bolt & Supply is a West, TX-based distributor of fasteners, including concrete anchors, industrial bolts, chains, hardware, nuts and more. The company primarily serves customers in the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus in the Permian Basin region.

Meanwhile, Birmingham Fastener makes and distributes fasteners for a range of industries, including oil and gas, construction, transportation, utilities, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and more. The company operates from several locations throughout the U.S. and Mexico.

“We’re excited to grow our presence in West Texas,” Birmingham Fastener President and CEO Brad Tinney said in a Jan. 9 news release. “This strategic partnership allows us to strengthen our commitment to American manufacturing and world-class service.”

Paul and Kyle Anderson, co-owners of Anchor Bolt & Supply, will manage daily operations in the Midland-Odessa area. Birmingham Fastener also said that James Province, General Manager of Houston Fastener Manufacturing — a Birmingham Fastener company — will play a crucial role in the partnership.
