Chino, California-based industrial flow control process distributor Harrington Process Solutions will acquire PumpMan, a provider of onsite maintenance, repair, and replacement of water and wastewater pumping system components. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
PumpMan will provide a complement to Harrington’s range of flow-control solutions by adding a pump service capabilities to the platform.
“Adding a leading pump services competency to our family of products and services will bring beneficial synergies for our customers as we continue to strengthen our position in the water markets,” Harrington CEO Bob Graham said in a Dec. 4 news release.
Founded in 2016, PumpMan has grown through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. The company has 11 locations, stretching across the United States from Southern California to the New York metropolitan area. It serves municipal, industrial and commercial markets, providing both onsite and offsite repair, replacement and maintenance services for pumps, motors, controls, valves, water wells and other flow control equipment.
This is the first acquisition since Harrginton was acquired by Bain Capital Private Equity in October.
