The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) added Graysville, AL-based MRO and industrial product distributor Eastern Sales and Proton.ai as members.
Chicago-based PTDA is an industrial power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distribution channel.
Eastern Sales joined as a distributor member, while Proton.ai, an AI-backed growth platform built for distributors, joined as a associate member.
“As a smaller distributor, the opportunity to join PTDA was a no-brainer,” Eastern Sales Owner Grady Burchfield said in a Sept. 30 news release. “The relationships we build within this network will give us the opportunity for growth.”
Proton.ai’s platform identifies customers needs, locates inactive accounts and identifies gaps in customer spending.
“We’re on a mission to help distributors adopt AI and modernize their sales process,” Proton.ai Head of Marking Dasha Shakov said. “We’ve seen impressive results with PTDA members using our CRM, and we’re excited to continue sharing best practices and drive meaningful revenue growth within the distribution industry and the PTDA community.”
