MRO distributor AZ Partsmaster, Phoenix, AZ, announced it has broken ground on a new facility that will serve as its corporate headquarters and a distribution center for the Phoenix market. Slated to open in November, the new facility will double its footprint in the Phoenix market.
“The expansion of our distribution center will allow for deeper inventories, the development of a direct import program and more efficient distribution locally as well as to our five regional distribution centers,” said Roger Bowman, vice president of merchandising and marketing.
Plans for the new facility also include an expansion of AZ Partsmaster’s fabrication capabilities.
“This move provides us with the opportunity to consolidate our existing door and blind shops and to add additional capabilities that our customers have been requesting,” said Don Maurer, vice president of operations and IT.
