Charlottesville, Va-based VEC Supply, a distributor of datacom, security & industrial automation products, has agreed to acquire American Electronic Supply Company, a distributor of datacom, security, AV & CCTV products based in Birmingham, AL.
Under the terms of the agreement, American Electronic Supply Company will operate as a standalone division of VEC and will continue to support their existing customers in the Alabama marketplace.
“This acquisition brings our total branch count to eight, and we plan to continue to grow our business both organically and through acquisitions in the months and years ahead,” said Frank Stalzer, president of VEC.
