Wholesale technology distributor Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), Santa Ana, CA, reported sales for the third quarter of $10.2 billion, down 3 percent from the prior-year quarter. Profit was $78.5 million, up 20.8 percent from third-quarter 2015.
For the first nine months, the company reported sales of $29.7 billion, down 6.4 percent from the same period a year ago. Profit increased 82.8 percent to $135.1 million.
