Madison Heights, MI-based industrial electronics and automation products distributor Galco Industrial Electronics acquired D.F. Burnham & Company.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Sterling Heights, MI-based D.F. Burnham is a distributor of hydraulic and pneumatic components, catering to various industries with a focus on items such as hoses, fittings, tubing, gauges and custom manifolds. The company operates from a 23,000-square-foot distribution facility.
“The acquisition of D.F. Burham & Company positions Galco to provide enhanced fluid power solutions to our customers,” Galco President & CEO Allison Sabia said in an Oct. 30 news release. “D.F. Burnham’s deep expertise and commitment to high-quality fluid power products combined with Galco’s robust distribution network will allow us to deliver greater value to the industrial automation market.”
Established in 1975, Galco said it offers manufacturers solutions aimed at improving efficiency, minimizing downtime and enhancing safety. The company provides repair and engineering services, as well as customer control panel solutions to support industrial needs.
