Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based electronics manufacturer AMETEK announced March 9 it has promoted Daniel Ketchum to Vice President and General Manager of its MRO Division, effective April 1. Ketchum currently is Division Vice President and Business Unit Manager for the FMH-PDT business within AMETEK’s Aerospace and Defense Division.
“Dan brings excellent leadership skills, a strong operational background, and extensive aerospace experience to this role,” AMETEK Chairman and CEO David Zapico said in a news release. “We expect him to play a key role in the continued growth and success of our MRO businesses.”
Ketchum joined AMETEK in 2018 as Vice President of Operational Excellence for the Material Analysis Division. Before joining AMETEK, Ketchum spent 13 years with General Electric, where he held leadership positions of increasing responsibility within their aviation business. Ketchum holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
It’s the latest in a series of leadership changes for AMETEK, which appointed Gene Hahnenberg as Vice President of Strategic Procurement and Jose Munoz as Vice President of Operational Excellence in November. In February, AMETEK reported 2022 full-year sales of $6.15 billion, an 11% increase from 2021.
