VEC, LLC, Charlottesville, VA, a distributor of datacom and security supplies, has agreed to acquire Connect-It, a datacom products and custom cable provider in Raleigh, NC. The deal is expected to close the first week in June.

 “We believe this is an excellent add-on to the VEC business, bringing us a strong customer base and knowledgeable employees to support our sales growth,” stated Frank Stalzer, president and CEO of VEC. “VEC already has a successful branch in the Raleigh market supporting contractors and installers so we plan to keep these two branches separate, allowing each of them to provide greater focus to their respective end markets.”
