On Oct. 24, Rexel Group subsidiary Rexel USA announced the hire of Tim Ryan as its Midwest Region President.
Ryan brings 17 years of experience in the industrial supply space to the electrical distributor, which ranked No. 5 on MDM’s 2023 Top Electrical Distributors List. Most recently, he served as the Regional Sales Vice President for National Accounts at W. W. Grainger, with prior experience as the Regional Sales Vice President in the Government and Healthcare department, and the Director of Operations for Grainger’s Large Customer and Mid-Market segments.
Ryan also has served as the President of Grainger’s Latino Business Resource Group for the last two years.
“I value the future direction of the organization and look forward to implementing my vision for the region that helps propel revenue growth and profitability, while also developing our team members into impactful leaders of the future,” Ryan said in a news release.
The news follows the promotion of two executives in August: Michael Hanna to Western Division President, and Eric Packer to Senior Vice President of Strategic Growth Initiatives.
In October, Rexel reported its 2023 third-quarter earnings, including sales of approximately $4.94 billion, up 2.6% over the same period in 2022.
