Wire, cable, fire and other communications/electrical products master distributor OmniCable appointed Shaire McGrath as the company’s Senior Director of Category Management.
In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company’s product categories to drive growth, profitability and customer satisfaction.
In a news release, OmniCable detailed that McGrath has over 24 years of leadership experience in sales and project management. Most recently, she was the Senior Manager of the Central and West Region for Seagate Technology, a provider of precision-engineered data storage and management solutions. Previously, she served as VP of Supply Chain and Network Services at KGPCo; VP of Global Business Development at Raycap; and he also held similar positions with CommScope and AVAYA.
“I look forward to helping cultivate strong relationships with our suppliers, and build-on the company’s meticulously curated inventory of products and services,” McGrath said in a news release. “I was drawn to the company’s commitment to collaboration and inclusivity, and am very happy to be part of a team that values personal and professional development, encourages creativity, and embraces diversity.”

Additionally, OmniCable announced management appointments for the enterprise division of the company’s new Communications business unit that was announced on March 12.
The appointments include:
- Nick Burbridge, Key Account Manager – Enterprise (MI, IN, IL, WI, MN, IA, MO, NE, ND, SD)
- Bruce Paige, Key Account Manager – Enterprise (PA, MA, NY, CT, NC, SC, GA, FL)
- Terry Folkerts, Key Account Manager – Enterprise (TX, OK, LA, MS, AR)
- Jordan Weeks, Key Account Manager – Enterprise (AK, HI, WA, OR, CA, NV, UT, ID, MT)
“These new strategic sales additions accelerate our ability to expand our redistribution model into the communications market, as well as support the company’s core sales force as communications opportunities become more and more prevalent with electrical distributors,” said Jim Curran, VP of Enterprise, Communications at OmniCable.
