Electrical, HVAC and building technology products distributor NSI Industries will acquire Aliso Viejo, CA-based connectivity product manufacturer ENET Solutions.

The acquisition will allow Huntersville, North Carolina-based NSI to “further key inroads into the building technologies market,” company officials said in a Dec. 12 news release.

Founded in 2003, ENET Solutions provides compatible network peripherals and connectivity products, offering more than 10,000 different connectivity product solutions. Its product portfolio includes high speed OEM compatible transceivers, active optical cable assemblies, direct-attach copper cable assemblies, server memory, media converters, network interface cards, and thousands of different cable solutions.

ENET focuses on high performance computing, large enterprise business, data centers, service providers and the public sector. ENET offers OEM alternatives.

The NSI Building Technologies business unit, a part of NSI’s Electrical Division, provides fiber and copper cable assemblies, pigtails, connectors, patch cords, patch panels, trunks, enclosures, jacks, electronics and components for networking applications, and interconnects, AV cable, USB cables and signal distribution electronics for networking, security and AV applications.

Earlier this year, NSI expanded its electrical division with the acquisition of Cast Products, and expanded operations and services for the building technology division.

The ENET brand joins Lynn and Platinum Tools to expand NSI’s offering to broadband, data communications and AV/security customers.
