Electrical process materials and parts distributor EIS has new leadership, with the company announcing a CEO transition this past November.
Atlanta-based EIS said Nov. 20 that Glenn Pennycook has retired after five years as CEO and is now on the company’s board of directors. Meanwhile, industry veteran Rob Logan has joined the EIS as its new CEO.
Logan spent the first five years of his career at General Electric before serving roles at Gepro, Anixter and Radwell, and most recently was CEO at Electrical Source Holdings from 2018 until early 2024.
“Under Glenn’s visionary leadership, EIS has grown into one of the world’s premier value-added distribution businesses. We extend our deepest gratitude to Glenn for his unwavering dedication and remarkable contributions,” EIS said in a news release. “At the same time, we are thrilled to announce Rob Logan as our new CEO, effective immediately! Rob is an accomplished leader with a stellar track record of building and scaling successful businesses in the value-added electrical distribution industry.”
EIS said that, at Electrical Source Holdings, Logan drove more than 10X growth through innovation, organic development and over 20 successful acquisitions.
EIS serves as a process materials, production supplies and engineered fabrication distributor catering to transformer, electric motor and other electrical equipment manufacturers and their aftermarket, along with electronic, alternative energy and eMobility markets.
At No. 41 on MDM’s 2024 Top Distributors List for Industrial Supplies, EIS has more than 900 employees at 25 locations across North America and the Caribbean, six of which are fabrication facilities.
